Mountain pasture and ridgeline in Kyrgyzstan at dusk
Oasia draft

Полное путешествие по Кыргызстану

Две недели: Бишкек, озеро, джайлоо и юг до Оша.

14 days North to southJune–SeptemberModerate Private journey

This itinerary is designed by Oasia. Local partners verify prices, availability, safety, and operations before a booking is confirmed. It is not copied from another platform’s catalog, and it is not already field-verified.

For travelers who want more than a single region. The complete journey links the north — Bishkek, Issyk-Kul, Karakol — with Song-Kul or Naryn and a finish in Osh. It is still a template, not a bus tour: days of trekking, riding, or rest are added after we know you. Two weeks is enough to feel the country’s scale without pretending you have seen everything.

Day by day

01
Arrive Bishkek

Rest and a gentle introduction to the capital. No gorge on landing day. Overnight: Bishkek.

02
Bishkek at human speed

Markets, parks, and the mountain wall above the city — or A Day in Ala-Archa if you slept. Overnight: Bishkek.

03
To Issyk-Kul

Boom Gorge and the first night on the lake. Overnight: Issyk-Kul.

04
South shore landscapes

Skazka with time to walk, and village time. Overnight: Southern Issyk-Kul.

05
Karakol

Arrive in the trekking town and settle. Overnight: Karakol.

06
A Karakol valley

Jeti-Ögüz, Altyn Arashan, or a first trail day — chosen with you. Overnight: Karakol or valley.

07
Open mountain day

A fuller hike if you want it, or a rest day. Overnight: Karakol.

08
Toward Song-Kul

Leave the lake for the high pasture country. Overnight: Kochkor or camp.

09
Song-Kul

First yurt night on the jailoo. Overnight: Song-Kul.

10
A second pasture morning, then Naryn

Two nights is better; if the calendar is tight, this morning still slows down before the road to Naryn. Overnight: Naryn.

11
South through the mountains

A long, scenic transfer toward the Fergana side. Overnight: En route guesthouse.

12
Osh

Sulaiman-Too, the bazaar, and a different culinary map. Overnight: Osh.

13
Osh at ease

A spare day for the city — or a nearby countryside outing. Overnight: Osh.

14
Depart Osh or fly to Bishkek

End in the south, or return north for an international departure. Overnight: —.

How you travel

Accommodation. City hotels, lakeside guesthouses, at least one yurt night, and simple mountain or southern stays. The mix is the point.

Transportation. Private vehicle for most days. A domestic flight may be used to avoid an overly long final transfer. Road hours are real; this is not a short-hop country.

Physical requirements. Moderate. Two weeks of travel days, optional hikes, and high-altitude yurt nights. Challenging treks are add-ons, not assumed.

What to bring

  • Versatile clothing for heat, wind, and cold nights
  • Broken-in walking shoes
  • Daypack

Safety considerations

  • Long road days require patience and flexible arrival times.
  • Altitude on Song-Kul can affect sleep.
  • Southern and northern Kyrgyzstan can feel like two trips; we build in recovery time.

Cancellation

Changes and cancellations are handled according to your written booking confirmation. Supplier rules for stays, horses, and trekking support can differ. See the cancellation policy draft and ask Oasia to confirm the terms that would apply to your dates.

Permits and route registration

Some itineraries may involve border-zone permits, park fees, or route-related paperwork depending on the season and exact route. Oasia will confirm what is relevant after a local review. Do not treat this page as a permit checklist.

Questions

Yes. The arc can run south to north. International flights into Osh are less frequent, so we plan around actual schedules rather than a diagram.
