What to pack for Kyrgyzstan
Layers, sun, and decent shoes matter more than a clever capsule wardrobe. Altitude evenings are cold even in July.
A useful default
Broken-in walking shoes, a warm layer, a waterproof shell, sun protection, a refillable bottle, and any personal medication in original packaging. Nights at Song-Kul and Ala-Kul are not city nights.
Trekking adds a second list
If you walk Ala-Kul, you need proper boots, warmer insulation, and a pack that already fits. We will send a route-specific list after a human reviews your plan. Do not buy a brand-new boot the week you fly.
